FIELD NOTES

Partnerships & Events

UZSQUARE is shaped not only by the products we make, but also by the people, places, and experiences around them.

Snowwear is designed to be used. On the mountain, during training, while travelling, and in changing conditions. By working with snowboard organisations, instructors, riders, and outdoor industry partners, we stay connected to how our products perform beyond the studio.

These partnerships and events give us practical insight into fit, movement, layering, protection, and long-term use. They also create opportunities to exchange ideas, gather feedback, and improve the way we design.

PARTNERSHIP

UZSQUARE × CASI

UZSQUARE is proud to partner with the Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors, CASI.

Through snowboard instruction and instructor development, CASI works closely with riders at every stage of progression. This partnership connects UZSQUARE with the practical side of snowboarding, where apparel is used repeatedly and tested across different movements and conditions.

It allows us to better understand how technical clothing performs during instruction, how it supports movement throughout the day, and how different layers work together on the mountain.

More than a brand collaboration, it is a direct connection to the instructors and riders who help move snowboard culture forward.

EVENT

ISPO Munich

ISPO Munich brings together brands, buyers, material specialists, and professionals from across the global outdoor and sports industries.

For UZSQUARE, participating in ISPO is an opportunity to present our products, materials, and design direction within an international setting. It also gives us the chance to hear different perspectives on how the outdoor market is developing across regions.

The value of an industry event goes beyond presentation. It lies in the conversations, feedback, and new ideas that help us understand where our products stand and where they can improve.

Why It Matters

Technical apparel cannot be developed in isolation.

It is shaped by the people who ride, teach, travel, test, repair, and use it in real conditions. Their experience helps us make more informed decisions about materials, construction, fit, and function.

UZSQUARE works between technical outdoor performance and contemporary design. We consider how a product performs on the mountain, but also how it fits into travel, daily wear, and the wider culture around snowboarding.

Our partnerships help keep these perspectives connected.

What Comes Next

This page will continue to document the partnerships, events, and projects that contribute to the development of UZSQUARE.

From snowboard education and industry exhibitions to field testing, community projects, pop-ups, and rider feedback, each experience gives us a clearer understanding of how our products are used.

For UZSQUARE, partnership is part of the design process. It keeps us connected to the mountain, the industry, and the people who shape snowboard culture.
